Items around the kitchen that grow into plants:
(Note: some of our foods are hybrids so the seeds will not produce fruits or vegetables identical to the parents).
Adzuki beans
Alfalfa seeds (for sprouts)
Almonds (for sprouts)
Apple seeds (need to be chilled to sprout)
Avocado pits
Bananas? Nope, not the commercial kinds (see below)
Beans (dried)
Beet tops

Chick peas or garbanzo beans
Coffee beans (raw) (Yes, they really do grow. I even got beans!)

Wild bananas grow from seeds, so you can buy them. However, our commercial varieties don't produce viable seeds. Those brown dots are not truly seeds.
